Our Purpose
In line with our values, in recent years we have made progress in consolidating a development model geared toward sustainability, strengthening the integration and alignment of various initiatives under a common vision, guided by environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria and pillars.
This process, which today guides our performance toward the corporate purpose ‘Change the country for the better,’ seeks to systemically integrate the expectations of our stakeholders with the objectives of our strategy map.

The development of our employees and their
families is of the utmost importance to AKRON®,
which is why, through the “Crecemos tu mundo”
(We Grow Your World) program, we strengthen
physical, emotional and financial well-being, as
well as personal, academic and cultural
development and quality-of-life improvement,
through a range of workshops and advisory sessions.
As part of our social responsibility and corporate volunteering
efforts, we encourage our employees to take part in
recreational and sports activities aimed at children in
special situations.
